Plastic welding fabrication

Plastic Welding & Fabrication

We take a thorough and vigorous approach to our preparation procedure, ensuring that the best quality pipes are fitted time after time. Our wealth of experience in electrofusion welding for the welding of PE piping means we can operate efficiently, using minimal equipment. Our specialist skills also extend to butt fusion welding and extrusion welding, using both PE and PP materials
Extrusion welding
Extrusion welding is a manual welding process used for Polyethylene (PE) & Polypropylene (PP) materials. Utilised in a variety of contexts including environmental applications and, increasingly, agriculture and water engineering including
  • Manufacture of thick-section structures – such as tanks, Pipes, Leachate Chambers, Knock-out Pots
  • Joining lining material – for the construction of landfill waste sites and lagoons
  • Fabrication of land drainage systems and sump tanks
PE Liner Repair Service
Extrusion Weld and Machine Hot Wedge Welding and repairs to PE membrane liner carried out on site.
Butt Fusion Welding
Butt Fusion Welding technique is an automatic process for joining pipes made from Polyethylene (PE). Mainly utilised within the water and gas industries this jointing method is carried using automatic equipment and is typically used for joining pipes ranging from 63mm to 900mm.
Electrofusion Welding
Electrofusion welding is a technique used for the welding of PE piping. Mainly used within the water and gas industries EF Welding is a quick and effective technique for welding various sizes of PE Pipe ranging from 20mm to 630mm. We have many years’ experience of working with pre-assembled pipe and fittings using the minimum of equipment. Coupled with our strict preparation procedure we produce consistent and structurally sound joints.
